Below are some frequently asked questions to help you out, and may solve your problems without having to contact us!

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes Dynmite Discos have up to £10,000,000 worth of Public Liability Insurance.
Q: Is your equipment reliable?
A: Yes, Dynamite Discos equipment is reliable and safe to use, as we have it regularly tested.
Q: How will the DJ dress?
A: The DJ's attire would be suitable for the event. If you have a specific dress code, please state during the booking.
Q: Do you do games at kids birthdays?
A: No, we do not supply games at kids parties. However Dynamite Discos are more than happy to work along side a childrens entertainer.
Q: Do you use strobe lights?
A: No, Dynamite discos do not use dedicated strobe lights, however some of our lighting may strobe occasionally.
Q: Do you use smoke/haze machines?
A: This is subject to the venues rules on smoke machines. If the venue will allow the use of smoke machines, and the client has accepted the use of smoke, then we will.
Q: Do you carry spare equipment around with you if required?
A: We always carry spare bulbs, fuses and cables with us. We also have access to spare CD players, speakers, microphones etc. However this is rarely needed.
Q: Where do you cover?
A: We currently cover Gloucestershireshire, and the immediate surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether we cover where you live, please get in contact with us.
Q: Will you play requests?
A: Yes! All requests are played providing we have them, and that they are suitable for the audience and the event.
Q: How long do you take to setup and pack away?
A: On average we take up to 60 minutes to setup and sound check our equipment, however we ask for 90 minutes so we can guaranteed to be setup in that time. To pack away, we ask for 40 minutes.
Q: Do we get confirmation of our booking?
A: Yes, once we have confirmed the booking we will send you a letter of confirmation for you to sign, and send back with a deposit. Dynamite discos then sign the letter, and email you a copy back.
Q: Do you accept bookings at venues with sound limiters?
A: No, unfortunately we do not accept bookings at venues with sound limiters, as when the sound level in the room goes above a certain point, our power will be cut off.
Q: One of my friends is a DJ, would he be allowed to do a set on the night?
A: Unfortunately no. The only people insured to use our equipment are our staff.
Q: Do you talk over the music?
A: The only time we talk over the music is to announce something i.e, 'the buffet has opened' or to read a request. We believe that the music should do the talking!
Q: Do you supply karaoke?
A: No, we do not currently supply karaoke, however we are looking to in the future.
Q: Can we meet you before our event?
A: Yes! We are more than happy to meet you to discuss the event in question.
Q: We would like to be able to do speeches at our event, can you supply a microphone?
A: Yes. We can supply a microphone for speeches at the event, however if any damage occurs to our equipment the client will be charged for the damages. (visit the terms page for more information)
